MENTORING PROGRAM

St. James School welcomes the opportunity for individuals and groups to act as volunteer mentors. Please call today for details!

Contributions of service are always welcome. Volunteer opportunities are varied and may involve a one-time project or an ongoing commitment. These gifts of time and special expertise help us to maximize limited resources and provide our students with the best quality services.

VOLUNTEER PROJECTS

INSIDE THE SCHOOL

Tutor children in our After School Program (3rd & 4th graders) or extended day program (5th graders)
Lead an after school program (chess, sports, art, music, dance and more)
Provide administrative office assistance (3-4 people needed for various shifts, 8am-6pm)
Provide hospitality at our front desk (volunteers needed at all hours of the day)

AROUND THE GROUNDS

Assist with landscape and gardening needs
Gather friends for an upcoming cleanup day
Help with “handyman” projects
Paint and rehab
