Support St. James School

Why Support St. James School?

Unlike the majority of independent and parochial schools, St. James School does not rely on tuition or fees for operating expenses.

While public schools and charter schools receive significant funding from tax revenue, St. James School is dependent upon individual contributions. While other schools might benefit from donations from parents and alumni, St. James School exclusively serves familes at or below the poverty level. We rely upon the generosity of individuals, foundations, and the founding sponsors.

By becoming a volunteer or a donor of St. James School, you join a vibrant and diverse educational community and you demonstrate support for our educational program and philosophy.

St. James School depends on caring people like you who believe that education has the power to change lives. Our supporters know and care about our students as individuals—helping them to become contributing, vibrant members of society.
